I am still looking at last minute trades and drops so I have not nailed down who is starting. I can tell you that some of my selections are not going to be considered "sexy" picks.
I am picking #3 in the draft so I am pretty sure I am going with Ray Rice for my 3rd pick. I know Michael Butler and Maurice Jones Drew are ranked higher depending upon which mock draft you look at; however, with Donte Stallworth hurt I feel Ray Rice will be used to catch passes out of the backfield.
Since I can not attend, I am making my list that I will submit to the Commissioner (He who is most wise) today. Here is a snapshot of where I am going.
I will update tomorrow on how I did. It is one day closer to Thursday night when I will be blogging live during the Saints/Vikings Game. GEAUX SAINTS!

Draft Snapshot
Regarding your strategy for Ray Rice, I would disagree. I personally stayed away from him during my drafts. Here's why:
ReplyDelete1. they still have McGahee who gets paid a boat load and they still have McClain. Yes I know they use McClain as the fullback but is still there a can carry on every down. McGahee is still in picture and will get his touches either from a hand off or a pass.
2. Speaking of passes, yes, Stallworth is injured and not going to be back until October, but Clayton moves up to the #3 spot and they just signed TJ Housh??????H. So in all they will have 5 WR and a capable TE.
Rice had a good season last year, but I was and would be, very leery about drafting him. My personal opinion.
